My grandmother passed away and I had to go back home. I was in Lake Tahoe for 2 months working with the Bear League, assisting their bear aversion and education work, answering their phones, assisting with bear calls, etc. and as well performing alot of wildlife rehabilitation and care. It was an incredible experience, and I may hopefully go back again this year. We'll see. For now I am languishing at home with nothing to do, but in the meantime I'll try and dust off this account and add some more of the art I've been working on.

Was held today at the Starbucks on Garth Rd. I donated two pieces of art to it. I am glad to know my artwork went to donating a total of $44 to multiple sclerosis research. I could not have dreamed of such success. Thank you so much to those who took an interest in my and everyone else's artwork there.

I do not update this too often, and a lot has happened since my last posting. This year I have completed two summer internships, one was for the Alligator River and Pea Island National Wildlife Refuges on the outer banks of North Carolina. There I worked various odd jobs as a swamp canoe tour guide, a speaker at park programs, some hair-snaring bear research, park maintenance, sea turtle research and nest relocation, bird banding research on sandwich terns and brown pelicans, fish hatchery work and much, much more.
